Landing in Thessaloniki (recommended)
We will provide transportation from/to the airport of Thessaloniki (Thessaloniki Airport "Makedonia", Code: SKG) during the following days only:
- Arrivals: Saturday 16 May & Sunday 17 May
- Departures: Saturday 23 May & Sunday 24 May
Please fill out this transportation form (Google form; external link) to provide information about your flight details and the total number of travelers. Deadline: May 8, 2026.
If you land in Thessaloniki on different days, you can reach Paralia and the conference venue using train or intercity bus (see below). From the airport, to reach the train station or the intercity bus station "Makedonia", you can use:
- the local bus 1X that you can take from the airport (duration of 40-60 minutes depending on traffic)
- a taxi (approximately 35 euros)
If already in Thessaloniki...
If you are already in Thessaloniki city and you would like to catch the shuttle bus to the conference venue, you can still fill out the transportation form. In the field "Flight number" please write "CITY" and indicate your preferred day and time of departure. We will then accommodate your request accordingly.

Landing in Athens
If landing in Athens, we recommend to search for separate flights from Athens to Thessaloniki if possible. If so, please follow the above directions. However, if you prefer to come from Athens to the conference venue with other means, you can reach the area of Paralia Katerini using train or intercity bus.
Arriving by train
Please visit the official website of Hellenic Trains to book your train tickets. The destination city should be "KATERINI". Once you arrive in "Katerini" you can get a taxi to your final destination in Paralia Katerini (approximately 10 Euros).
Arriving by intercity bus
Please visit the official website of Intercity Bus Pieria to book your bus tickets. The destination city should be "KATERINI". Once you arrive in "Katerini" you can get a taxi to your final destination in Paralia Katerini (approximately 15 Euros).
Arriving by car
The conference venue can be found on standard maps (Google / Apple etc). Simply look for "Mediterranean Village, Paralia Katerini, Greece" to reach the venue.
